Noggin Play-Along Video

Nickelodeon

2016-2018 | Interactive Smart-App | Motion Design

Project Overview:

In late 2015 Nickelodeon’s parent company, Viacom, decided to try an experiment. The idea was to take the children’s shows from their early 00’s back catalogue and transform them into an interactive app for to watch along with. In it, the viewer would be able to watch their favorite cartoons, and when prompted to do so, touch the elements within the show—creating a new way to play along with their educational entertainment.

I was brought on as a Motion Designer, expanding the SD scenes to fit the new iPad displays, creating new interactive elements, and designing new fun scenarios. As this was an app made to view a variety shows, this work had me juggling multiple artistic styles for IPs such as Team UmiZoomi, Moose & Zee, Bubble Guppies, Blue’s Clues, and more.
